The Oncoming Storm

[Raarsi]

((A pair of white eyes flicker in the dark, causing the room to be illuminated by star-lit walls, revealing a boy with long gray hair, colorless eyes, and an exposed torso bearing numerous scars with puncture marks lined along his arms, shoulders, and back. He looks down upon an unconscious young girl with blue hair, dark blue lips, and hovering in front of him. He places his hand along her cold forehead, staring intently on a gold locket levitating over his other hand...))

...So this is the girl that she sacrificed herself for. A connection so strong that even Celkie would abide to it. A loss not just by valor, but a loss by love...Zoe Spintheras, your fall shall never be in vain, as now those whom you lost so much to will have to face an force unlike no other. Where Raarsi failed with Supergirl, her new power shall succeed with her, the dearest beloved who you believed to be among the rest that you had lost. She will be the one to dispel your restlessness in the hereafter...

((The boy's eyes begin to glow bright white as his hand raises slightly over the girl's forehead.))

Jaclyn Diamanti, a girl borne of ice...makes sense that Zoe would wish her to be guarded so well, but why would a girl impervious to physical harm require such protection? An unbreakable ice preserving this girl...yet, it seems her fire comes not from a torch, but from endless trauma...trauma like my own. Either way, as someone who loved and cared for the girl rather than the powers, Zoe can rest in peace knowing her last wish will be done, and the traumas holding down this unbreakable girl shall break her no longer...

((His eyes, still affixed to the girl, start to flash and flicker out. Moments after, a girl clad in golden armor teleports to the opposite side of the blue-haired girl. She is then followed by the sounds of howling gusts of wind as a massive, translucent golem-like figure gently lowers itself through the void of the room. The girl in golden armor takes one glance at the figure and looks back down at the boy and girl beside her.))

“Kazrah, is she ready? I believe you do know that she is not the only girl who needs your attention right now dearie.”

((The boy simply nods, keeping his gaze on the girl)) “Of course, and Jaclyn is ready Raarsi. Shaarde the Frost-caller shall have a new host under the condition that he works under her will. Her mind has been erased of all that has pained her, including the pain this experience shall bring upon her. Whether or not the Frost-caller wishes to make himself known to her will be solely at his disgression. I will take my leave to tend to Celkie, as I have no wish to take any part in someone you see as nothing more than just another experiment.”

((Kazrah grasps the hovering locket and teleports off. Raarsi simply shrugs as magic circles form all around the room, electricity crackling between all of them. The electricity arcs away to both the spirit and to the girl, appearing to be undamaged or unaffected by the lightning. Raarsi then puts her hands together and begins to utter in a tone matching the sound of chimes hung in a windstorm. The spirit draws closer and closer to the unconscious girl, the arcs of lightning increasing in number and strength until a loud final crash is heard along with a bright flash of light. The aftermath reveals only the two girls, both of them crackling with electricity as Raarsi takes a deep breath, looking down at the girl and knowing she had succeeded.))

“Aye Jaclyn, you'll be fine dearie...”

((Numerous cracks in the void of the room begin to appear as Raarsi grabs Jaclyn, teleporting them both out.))
