Guide to the JG Website

I brought over a bunch of the changes from the test site and thought I'd write a quick guide to outline the new features:

Home
The new addition to this page is the Featured widget. This allows us to change the look every once in while so things aren't stagnant. This will vary from important alerts, images or video. The charter has been converted to text to improve search engine optimization (SEO). It's also easily copied and pasted if you need to send the information out to someone interested.

Forums
Chat has been removed from these pages because the forums are meant to be surfed and reloaded, which was wiping the chat window. If you have images or galleries to share, please add it to the art section of the Forums. The Gallery section was removed because all entries were old and also uploads to the gallery count against the limited file space of our Guild Launch account.

Site Roster
There's no way to really keep this section up-to-date as it's not tied to the DCUO database, but it needed to be retained because it's tied to players who apply through the site. Use this section to enter information about your characters. The character sheet templates are pretty cool... I just wish they weren't so buried in the hierarchy.

Census Roster
This is a view of the league using Sore's dcuolive.com census app. It's an accurate view of the league's current status/membership.

Calendar
Check here for birthdays, events and scheduled raid.

Social
The chat widget was moved here to avoid page reloading. This can be a nice place to hang out during long downtime. The official DCUO Twitter feed is also here because it's the only page the widget would fit on without breaking the layout!

Rapid Raid
I'm not actually sure if this is being used since there are no schedule raids at the moment. This might get populated automatically based on that.
