Here's some information on the Hotel Justice found on Wiki


The Hotel Justice resides in a posh neighborhood in eastern Metropolis. The building was purchased by the Zhang family, Chinese immigrants, in the 1940's and opened as the Yellow Phoenix Hotel. The business was passed down through the family for generations until construction of the nearby LexCorp Tower threatened its existence. Fearing for their safety, the Zhangs sold the property to Moirob Inc, a subsidary of Queen Industries, after receiving veiled threats and innuendo from LexCorp representatives. The hotel is currently managed by Mystery Hospitality who have made several changes. Among these are the addition of a mini museum celebrating superheroes, a renovated pub, and a new honeymoon suite. The name change to Hotel Justice was officially cited to be in recognition of the city's heroes, but some people believe it was also a jab at LexCorp Inc. and its tower, the tallest building in Metropolis.

I'm going to be running a live broadcast of the meet and greet through Twitch, however I'm going to be on in two places at once, I'm going to be with the my main Jade, however one of the toons I have on the PSN will be used for the live broadcast that will be shown over on my channel on Twitch

Well I would love to do that, if I knew how, right now videos are just getting archived on my Twitch account, and not ending up on my YouTube account (even though they're supposed to be going there). So the only place that the video after would go is over to Twitch instead, I Hope that helps clear that one up?

OK, since I don't know how to post it the way that Alyssa does when it comes to the videos. This is from the Live Feed that I did from Twitch. I don't know how to embed the video, but this live feed is from the ENTIRE Meet and Greet event. Please let me know what you think of it, it's the first that I've ever done, and I know that there's always room for improvements. Please note that there will be comments on the side from both channel bots and from anyone that was actually watching the event take place.

Cool. Thanks for streaming. Does Twitch keep the videos forever?

I'm not sure how to embed Twitch actually. It doesn't look like Guildlaunch/Gamerlaunch has a template for it.

Actually I don't know, you'd have to find out with Twitch, I know that nearly all of the streams that DCUO have done I believe are still on their channel in their archive. Since I'm still new to the whole thing, I'm still working on getting viewers right now for the channel (which is proving really hard right now, need more action on my channel for more viewers, and more audio as well.) However beyond that, don't know anything that you don't know.

Getting viewers is extremely hard so don't be discouraged if it starts out slow. In order to get 1 live viewer, you need roughly 100 subscribed! I don't know much about Twitch, but that's a Youtube estimate. One channel I follow has 250 subs and when he streams, he gets 1-3 viewers. Another larger channel has 2000 subs and they get 15-20 viewer on a livestream. So you're looking at 1% at best.

Actually with Twitch you can get followers like crazy, but it also doesn't mean that they're going to be watching on a constant basis (sort of like watching the Flash each time that a new episode airs, you get the viewers there for the new episodes, but not so much for the repeats).

For a live feed, it's a bit different than say making a video and putting it up on YouTube. With YouTube, everything is prerecorded and edited and fixed up, all mistakes cleared, anything that you don't want there is gone. However with Twitch, it's like watching Saturday Night Live in real time on the East Coast, everything is in real time and there's going to be screw ups no matter what happens, and the only thing that they've got going for them (thanks to FCC Laws) is a slight delay for hitting the bleep button in case anyone swears on live television. On Twitch we get that delay too, but that's only for the comments coming in, we don't get a bleep button in case we swear. Now I will be posting up another starting thread dealing with Twitch and this subject (since I will be doing more JG Live Feeds for future JG Events, meet and greets and otherwise, and Impulse is more than likely going to be my camera for those too). However in the mean time, this is at least letting you know the slight difference between Twitch and YouTube.
