Twin sister of Sinestro Corp member Shatha Vel (a.k.a. Xanthophobia). Erana Vel is a new recruit to the Green Lantern Corp who has proven resourceful and elusive. On her home world Erana Vel led a successful revolution to depose her sister's fear driven rule. The Green Lantern Kt'Tk'Kh of space sector 2245 had intervened in the conflict. After Shatha Vel was forced to flee her planet, Erana Vel was taken to Oa where she received her ring.
Last seen in space sector 2814 lending aide to the Green Lantern Corp on Earth.
