What's an Evitria?

Evitria was born in a small town outside of Dallas, Texas. A lot like Smallville, a farming community with not much to do, but from the day she was born her parents knew she was destined for something big. Little did they know just how big her destiny would be. The date she was born is a mystery to all but Evitria, as she keeps this held close to her chest. What little we know of this fact is that she is at least 30 years old. She grew up normal though. Nothing of any major consequence occuring in her young life. That was until the exo-bytes rained down on Earth.

It was a dark and gloomy day for Evitria, she was coming home from a rough shift at the Methodist Medical Center in downtown Dallas. She worked there as an ER Nurse. The tide of emergencies and patients just never seemed to end that day. It was raining, and as it always was on rainy days, a very busy time in the ER. The rain was splashing at her windshield of her cream colored Chrysler. The windshield wipers barely able to keep up. She heard something, but she wrote it off as the roof. Then, she heard it again. A sort of clicking, or popping sound. She decided to pull over, thinking that maybe something was wrong with the car. Of course, being a farm girl a little Texas thunderstorm was no big deal to her, nor was fixing a broken engine along side a busy highway.

Evitria stepped out of her car and began to walk around to open then hood, when sudden a huge flash of light blinded her and knocked her backwards and unconcious. Lightning had struck again, but this time, it wasnt speed that was given out, as it was with the Flash. Evitria would not find out any of this until she woke a few hours later.

You see, it seems there was an exo-byte stuck in a windshield wiper blade on her car. An empty one, all save one thing.....flight. Yet the lightning strike had given something else into the exo-byte. The power to harness the very being of electricity itself. The ability to warp and send electrons flowing in the the direction one wants from their finger tips on a whim. Evitria would discover the flight first. Her new found electrical powers would not be discovered until much much later, and it would take many hours of hard lessons learned for Evitria to learn to control and wield them as she chose to.
